MRSV SPACE Inc. (“MRSV*SPACE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) develops software, platforms, tools and services for creating, configuring, deploying, managing and experiencing immersive environments.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you use the MRSV*SPACE ecosystem, including:
• the MRSV*SPACE Platform;
• Space Builder;
• MRSV*SPACE Launcher and associated runtime applications;
• MRSV*SPACE Unreal Engine tools and plugins;
• creator, developer and administration tools;
• MRSV*SPACE websites, accounts, marketplaces, libraries and cloud services;
• beta, research and early-access programs; and
• other applications or services that link to this Privacy Policy.
Collectively, we refer to these as the “Services.”
1. Who We Are
The data controller responsible for personal information covered by this Privacy Policy is: MRSV SPACE Inc.
Ontario, Canada
Registered Address: 250 Coleridge Ave., Toronto M4C 4J1
Privacy inquiries: info@mrsv.space
General support: info@mrsv.space
Where another MRSV*SPACE entity is identified as the provider of a particular Service, that entity may also act as a controller or processor as described in the applicable agreement.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on which Services you use and how you interact with us.
2.1. Information We Collect
When you create or administer a MRSV*SPACE account, activate a product, join an organization or obtain a license, we may collect:
• name;
• email address;
• username or account indentifier;
• organization or institution;
• job title or role;
• telephone number, where provided;
• billing or business address;
• organization membership and permissions;
• subscription, entitlement and license information; and
• account preferences.
We do not intend to collect information that is unnecessary to provide the Services.
2.2 License and Device Information
Some MRSV*SPACE applications use device-based license activation.
We may collect or generate:
• device identifier or device fingerprint;
• operating system and version;
• processor architecture;
• application version;
• activation status;
• license identifier;
• activation and validation timestamps;
• approximate technical network information such as IP address; and
• information necessary to enforce permitted device limits.
A device identifier may persist between application sessions so that we can recognize an activated device and prevent unauthorized license sharing.
We treat persistent device identifiers as personal information where applicable law considers them capable of identifying or distinguishing a user or device.
2.3 Usage and Product Telemetry
We may collect limited information regarding how our applications are used.
Depending on the application, telemetry may include events such as:
• project created, opened or saved;
• project loaded successfully or unsuccessfully;
• undo or redo operations;
• configuration validation;
• export attempts and outcomes;
• application or feature usage;
• application launch and shutdown;
• software version;
• performance information; and
• other technical events used to understand product reliability and feature usage.
Telemetry is intended to measure how the software functions and which features are used. It is not intended to reproduce the creative content of your projects.
We will maintain an internal record of telemetry events collected by each application and update this Privacy Policy if the categories of data materially change.
2.4 Crash, Diagnostics and Error Information
If an application encounters an error, we may receive technical diagnostic information such as:
• error type;
• sanitized error message;
• stack trace;
• software version;
• operating system;
• architecture;
• affected component; and
• diagnostic timestamps.
Where technically practical, file paths, authentication credentials, license keys and similar sensitive values are removed or masked before transmission.
Because diagnostic information may originate from application processes or third-party software, an error report could unintentionally include text or information present within the error itself.
2.5 Project and Spatial Configuration Data
MRSV*SPACE applications may allow you to create or work with information such as:
• room dimensions;
• display layouts;
• projection configurations;
• nDisplay configurations;
• floor plans;
• spatial maps;
• project metadata;
• equipment configurations; and
• immersive environment settings.
Space Builder does not transmit the contents of locally stored project files, floor plans or exported nDisplay configurations to MRSV*SPACE solely because you create, edit, save or export them.
If a future feature allows you to voluntarily upload, synchronize, back up or share a project through MRSV*SPACE cloud services, we will clearly identify that functionality and the data involved.
2.6 Content You Upload or Publish
Certain MRSV*SPACE Services may allow creators, businesses or organizations to submit:
• immersive environments;
• images and thumbnails;
• videos;
• descriptions and metadata;
• Unreal Engine packages;
• interaction configurations;
• playlists;
• project files;
• documentation; or
• other content.
We process this information to provide hosting, publishing, distribution, moderation, licensing, marketplace or collaboration functionality that you request.
Ownership and licensing of submitted content are governed by the MRSV*SPACE Terms of Service and, where applicable, separate Creator, Marketplace or Usage Rights Terms.
2.7 Website and Online Service Information
When you use our websites or web applications, we may automatically receive:
• IP address;
• browser and operating-system information;
• referring page;
• pages accessed;
• timestamps;
• session information; and
• cookie or similar identifiers.
Where required by law, non-essential cookies or similar technologies will be used only in accordance with applicable consent requirements.
2.8 Communications and Customer Support
If you contact us, participate in a beta program or otherwise communicate with MRSV*SPACE, we may process:
• your contact details;
• correspondence;
• support requests;
• technical information supplied by you;
• feedback;
• survey responses; and
• information necessary to resolve your inquiry.
2.9 Payment Information
Payments may be handled by third-party payment processors.
MRSV*SPACE generally does not need to receive your complete payment-card number.
We may receive transaction information such as:
• purchaser name;
• billing address;
• transaction identifier;
• purchased product or subscription;
• transaction amount;
• payment status; and
• limited payment-method information.
The payment processor's own privacy terms also apply to information it processes.
2.10 Newsletter and Marketing Information
If you subscribe to MRSV*SPACE communications or otherwise consent to marketing, we may process your:
• name;
• email address;
• organization;
• communication preferences; and
• engagement with our communications.
We do not intend to collect information that is unnecessary to provide the Services.
3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
Unless expressly required by a particular feature or voluntarily submitted by you, our core software products are not designed to collect:
• the visual contents of your physical room or venue;
• locally stored floor plans;
• locally stored Space Builder projects;
• exported nDisplay configuration files;
• passwords stored on your device;
• precise GPS location;
• biometric information;
• health or medical records; or
• personal information about visitors experiencing an immersive installation.
If one of our future products requires additional categories of information, we will provide appropriate notice before or when that information is collected.

5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where Canadian privacy law applies, we collect, use and disclose personal information with appropriate consent or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or similar legislation applies, our legal bases may include:
Performance of a Contract:
For processing necessary to provide accounts, subscriptions, software licenses, downloads, activation and requested Services.
Legitimate Interests:
For purposes such as preventing software piracy and account abuse; maintaining application security; diagnosing technical failures; improving product reliability; understanding aggregate product usage; and operating and improving our business.
Consent:
Where consent is appropriate or legally required, including certain marketing communications, cookies and optional processing. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, although withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out beforehand.
Legal Obligation:
Where processing is necessary to comply with tax, accounting, legal, regulatory or other obligations.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether the processing is necessary and whether those interests are outweighed by the rights and interests of affected individuals.
6. Telemetry Choices
Some operational information may be necessary for licensing, security and reliable operation of the Services and therefore cannot always be disabled.
Where we introduce optional analytics or telemetry, we may provide an application setting or other mechanism allowing you to control that processing.
Until such controls are available, MRSV*SPACE will limit telemetry to information reasonably necessary for licensing, security, diagnostics, reliability and product improvement.
Users in jurisdictions providing a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests may contact us using the information in Section 15.
7. How We Share Information
We may disclose information to organizations that help us operate MRSV*SPACE, including:
• cloud and infrastructure providers;
• payment processors;
• authentication and license-management providers;
• software monitoring and crash-reporting providers;
• communications and customer-support providers;
• analytics providers;

These providers may process information only for permitted purposes and are expected to protect it appropriately.
We may also disclose information:
• with your instruction or consent;
• to an organization administering your enterprise, school or institutional account;
• where required by law or valid legal process;
• to investigate fraud, security incidents or violations of our agreements;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business; or
• where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
MRSV SPACE Inc. does not sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
8. Organization Accounts
Organizations may purchase or administer MRSV*SPACE accounts for employees, students, contractors or other authorized users.
An organization administrator may be able to:
• add or remove users;
• assign licenses;
• manage permissions;
• view account or device activation status; and
• manage organization-level settings.
Where an account is controlled by your employer, educational institution or another organization, that organization may independently determine how information associated with the account is managed.
9. Customer Data and Data Processing
Customers may use MRSV*SPACE products in connection with their own employees, customers, students, visitors or other individuals.
Where MRSV SPACE Inc. processes personal information solely on behalf of a customer, the customer may be the data controller or equivalent responsible organization and MRSV SPACE Inc. may act as its processor or service provider.
Where appropriate, these arrangements may be governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that information they collect or submit through the Services is collected and processed lawfully.
10. International Data Transfers
MRSV SPACE Inc. is based in Canada and may use service providers located in Canada or other countries.
Personal information may therefore be processed outside the country in which you live.
When required by applicable privacy legislation, we use recognized legal mechanisms or contractual safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
Information processed outside your jurisdiction may also be subject to lawful access by courts, law-enforcement agencies or regulatory authorities in that jurisdiction.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, security and contractual requirements.
Unless another retention requirement applies, our intended retention framework is:
Account and license records:
For the duration of the account or commercial relationship and for a reasonable period afterward where needed for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or support purposes.
Transaction and billing records:
For the period required by applicable tax, accounting and corporate-record laws.
License and device activation records:
For the active license period and a reasonable period afterward to manage licensing, security, disputes and abuse prevention.
Product telemetry:
Retained in identifiable or pseudonymous form only for as long as reasonably necessary for product analytics, after which it may be aggregated or deleted.
Crash and diagnostic information:
Retained for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate and resolve technical issues and monitor recurring problems.
Customer-support correspondence:
Retained as reasonably necessary to resolve issues, maintain service history and meet legal obligations.
Where information has been irreversibly anonymized so that it can no longer identify an individual, we may retain and use that information without a defined retention period.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.
Measures may include, where appropriate:
• access controls;
• authentication;
• encryption in transit;
• secure infrastructure;
• software-development controls;
• logging and monitoring;

These rights are subject to applicable legal limitations and exceptions.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Canadian users may also have the right to challenge our compliance with applicable privacy legislation.
EEA and UK users may lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority responsible for their jurisdiction.
14. Children and Students
The MRSV*SPACE ecosystem is primarily designed for businesses, professionals, creators, institutions and educational organizations.
Our general Services are not designed for children to independently create commercial accounts.
Where a school, university or other educational institution provides MRSV*SPACE to students who are minors, the institution and MRSV SPACE Inc. may establish additional privacy and data-processing arrangements appropriate to that deployment.
We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from young children without appropriate authorization where required by law.
15. Immersive Health and Research Applications
Some MRSV*SPACE technology may be used in wellness, healthcare research or mental-health-related environments.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate agreement, MRSV SPACE Inc. does not collect medical records, diagnosis information or other health data merely because the MRSV*SPACE platform is used in such an environment.
Organizations conducting healthcare or research activities are responsible for their own legal obligations concerning participant, patient and research data.
16. Third-Party Services
MRSV*SPACE may integrate with or enable interoperability with third-party products, services or platforms, including Unreal Engine and related technologies.
Third-party services may collect information independently under their own privacy policies.
This Privacy Policy does not govern independent processing performed by third parties.
17. Business Transfers
If MRSV SPACE Inc. participates in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed to relevant parties as part of that transaction where permitted by law.
Any successor organization receiving personal information remains subject to applicable privacy obligations.

• email; or
• the MRSV*SPACE website.
